Above the roar of rickety automobiles,
The chatter of juvenile hawkers,
Hookers.
Above the croak of revenue collectors
And buzz of flies from filth,
I hear politicians prattling like parrots.
They hail helicopters
On mission to drop death
On defenceless neighbours.
They revel in Roosevelt
And hail Hitler in secret.
The music of mealy mouthed minstrels
Will mesmerize the masses again.
From the Palace
Another carousal will cascade.
The day after carousal,
Big thieves will bring to the Palace
Wrists of small thieves amputated.
We bear brunt of Palace profligacy,
We,
Who have been made homeless
By city council caterpillars.
